3 Chocolate Fondue



With this we had a champagne to welcome the New Year.

Fondue Ingredients:

4 ounces chopped bittersweet chocolate (we used Ghiradelli)
4 ounces chopped milk chocolate
4 ounces chopped Toblerone
3/4 cup whipping cream
2 Tablespoons Cognac

Serving Ingredients:

Cubed pieces of pound cake
Strawberries
Chopped bananas
Pineapple chunks
Mandarin oranges or clementines
Dried Apricots

Heat the whipping cream in a medium heavy saucepan on the stove. Add the chocolate and stir until melted, about three minutes, and remove from heat. Add the Cognac and whisk until smooth. Pour into a ceramic fondue pot and serve immediately over a low heat burner.
